We found a grandfather clock for sale online. The person selling it was very accommodating and was willing to hang onto it until we arranged transportation for it. We finally got it moved on March 28th. It had a brass moon dial and an Incandescent light inside to light the bottom pendulum and weights.

I was browsing online and found another clock that had a blue moon dial and I liked the look, so I looked on eBay and found a guy that had one for sale. I bought the dial, and swapped it into my clock.

Then I decided to add some LED strip inside and remove the inefficient and hot incandescent lamp. I decided on 24V white LED. I got a Matter controller and wired it to the new strips. I put one strip under the movement to light the cabinet, one in the arch of the face to illuminate that, and one inside the upper cavity to light the movement and chime bars.

We very much enjoy having the clock and enjoy the small improvements that make it stand out!
